Whether or not you've seen your groom the morning of your wedding or not there is still a magic moment when you walk down the aisle to meet him one last time as a single gal. Part of what makes that so powerful is music. While there are countless traditional choices to consider I always encourage clients to select a piece that has a special meaning to them. I have had clients walk down the aisle to instrumental versions of songs by the Dave Matthews Band, ColdPlay, Etta James, Stevie Wonder and many, many more artists. These entrances are long remembered by the couple and guests alike. Musicians may charge a small fee for learning a special piece but it is typically nominal and so well worth it!
Need ideas? Consider the song that you'll use for your first dance. The instrumental only version will tie in nicely with the reception. Have a favorite band or song from your first date? How about the song that your parents danced to for their first dance? or an 80's favorite? Have fun & think outside the box - it will make your wedding day even more special & memorable!!
Happy Thursday!
