Phew! My husband Cameron and I just returned from the National Stationery Show in New York City's Javits Center. We got back last night and boy are we tired!! The show was so incredible - so it's a good tired! :-)
When we first arrived at the Javits, this is what our booth looked like! To be sure I felt a little overwhelmed!!
But with a little elbow grease and a few hours time - Voila! Here's what we had:
Thank you so much to Pat's Floral Designs for lending us many of the props you see here. I rented the cute bamboo chairs and green linen from Festive Fare.
The "Paper Tree" was a big hit with folks - thanks again to Pat's Floral for letting me use it - if I had a nickel for every time someone asked us where we got it, I'd be a very rich woman!
These Pottery Barn frames were also a big hit!!
The evening of the first day of the show included dinner and dancing at the Battery Gardens - this was the view from the restaurant - that's Lady Liberty waaaaaay out there!! We were so busy with the show that this was all of the sightseeing that we got to do. Cameron and I are determined to go up another time when there is no work to be done and only lots of sightseeing and shopping!
One of the biggest highlights of the show for me was when the "Queen of Paper" - Anna Griffin stopped by my booth!!! As you probably know, I'm a HUGE fan of hers!!! It was so exciting to see her again and get a quick photo - she is truly one of the kindest women I've ever met!! I totally heart her AND her designs!!!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! I hope to rest up!!!
Happy Friday!
Jennifer
